Glee - Glease

On hearing the news that Mr. Shue (Matthew Morrison) plans on leaving the Glee Club until after Sectionals once the musical is complete the club panics and Sue (Jane Lynch) goes bananas when Schuester announces Finn (Cory Monteith) will be leading the club in his absence. Declaring war once again on the arts, Sue begins to undermine both the Glee Club and the musical beginning with convincing Wade's parents (Mark Christopher LawrenceDavenia McFadden) that it may not be safe for their son to play the role of Rizzo in Grease.

For her own nefarious purposes involving putting the moves on Brody (Dean Geyer), Cassandra July (Kate Hudson) pushes Rachel (Lea Michele) to return home with Kurt (Chris Colfer) to get closure with their respective ex's and see their friends in Grease. They aren't the only returning graduates to lend support as Finn reaches out to Santana (Naya Rivera) to take on the now vacant role of Rizzo. And, under the guise of a fun girls' slumber party, Kitty (Becca Tobin) continues to play mind games on Marley's (Melissa Benoist) fear of putting on weight.

Before the wildly successful night comes to an end the two recently broken-up couples will pick the scabs at old wounds, Rachel and Kurt will return "home" to New York, a new couple will share their first kiss, and Mr. Shue will say a tearful, albeit it temporary, goodbye to the Glee Club before leaving for Washington, D.C.

Musical numbers from the play include Ryder (Blake Jenner) and Sam (Chord Overstreet) leading the boys in "Greased Lightnin'," Kitty leads Brittany (Heather Morris), Sugar (Vanessa Lengies), and Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) in "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee" which Marley later reprises, Blaine (Darren Criss) sings "Beauty School Dropout," Santana and Cassandra July separately sing "There Are Worse Things I Could Do," and the entire cast takes the stage to perform "You're the One That I Want."
