Person of Interest - Booked Solid

In attempting to save the latest number delivered by The Machine, a Serbian refugee working as a Manhattan hotel maid (Mía Maestro), Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Finch (Michael Emerson) may have bitten more than they can chew as they pair are surrounded by suspects including hundreds of guests and hotel staff, any one of which could be the potential killer. While working as a bellhop, Reese runs into a former Person of Interest, Zoe Morgan (Paige Turco), who has her own business in the hotel.

Potential threats includes the hotel manager (David Pittu) running a shady solicitation business on the side, a rotating surveillance group staking out the hotel's bar and lobby, and a freelance journalist staying in the hotel with ties to the maid's past. Needing a little help the pair call-in Fusco (Kevin Chapman) for back-up. After identifying the real threat, and their Person of Interest's true past, Reese is able to save the maid but the reporter to whom she was feeding information isn't so lucky.

Detective Carter (Taraji P. Henson) gets a second chance at the FBI although it means sticking clear of Reese and Finch for the time being and passing a lie detector test without incriminating herself or her secret friends. However, Carter's chance at the FBI is short-lived due to her new beau, Detective Beecher (Sterling K. Brown), when the FBI uncover some troubling evidence concerning Internal Affairs investigations which gets her offer to join the FBI quickly reascended.

After getting released, thanks to the maneuverings of the well-placed Washington insider (Jay O. Sanders), Hersh (Boris McGiver) hits the streets looking for the Man in the Suit. All the activity at the hotel leads him to getting into fight in the hotel kitchen with Reese who leaves the assassin bleeding out on the kitchen floor. Although it's a victory for Reese, the episode's final scene reveals the threat from the Washington insider is even now more serious as Root (Amy Acker), still looking for the location of The Machine, has insinuated herself as the man's new assistant.
