Glee - Girls (and Boys) on Film

Newly arrived in New York, Santana (Naya Rivera) quickly overstays her welcome when she gets snowed in with Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Adam (Oliver Kieran-Jones). Meanwhile back in Lima, the Glee Club gets an assignment to break up into male and female teams to choose and perform mashups of their favorite songs from their favorite movies in the wake of Will (Matthew Morrison) and Emma's (Jayma Mays) wedding debacle. Despite Will's decision to give Emma space, Finn (Cory Monteith) continues to search for Mr. Shue's runaway bride even attempting to enlist the help of Sue (Jane Lynch), Artie (Kevin McHale) and Emma's parents (Don Most, Valerie Mahaffey).

With Finn's urging Will travels to the house of Emma's sister for big romantic gesture (complete with trench coat and old school boombox) and a song in his heart (Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes") bringing the entire cast of the New Directions for his backup singers. While rifling through the apartment Santana finds Brody's (Dean Geyer) pager and a large wad of cash leading her to assume Rachel's new boyfriend is a drug dealer. In a moment of weakness Marley (Melissa Benoist) admits to Kitty (Becca Tobin) and later Jake (Jacob Artist) that she kissed Ryder (Blake Jenner) on St. Valentine's Day. Before the episode's end Santana will confront Rachel with the pregnancy test she found and Finn will make an admission as well leaving the fate of several relationships up in the air.

Blaine (Darren Criss) and Sam (Chord Overstreet) lead the boys in a mashup of Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone" from Top Gun and Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock and Roll from Risky Business" while Unique (Alex Newell) and Marley lead the girls in a mashup of "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Madonna's "Material Girl." Other performances include Jake singing The Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody" in true Ghost style, Will and Emma also provide an elaborate black and white performance of "You're All the World to Me" in Will's dream sequence, Blaine and Kurt perform "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge!, Blaine and Brittany (Heather Morris) lead the New Directions in a performance The Isley Brothers' "Shout" from Animal House, and to close out the episode Sam and Artie lead the entire group in a performance of "Footloose."
