Covert Affairs - River Euphrates

After breaking the news to Auggie (Christopher Gorham) of Helen (Michelle Ryan) death, Annie (Piper Perabo) heads to New York to track down Nelson Smith (Jonathan Togo), a custom's official who moves Henry Wilcox's (Gregory Itzin) money and may be the only one left alive to tie Wilcox to the events in Copenhagen. Unable to get Calder to make a move on Wilcox without any proof to take the man down, Auggie enlists the help of Barber (Dylan Taylor) to stake out the former head of the CIA.

In the episode's B-story Joan is approached by FBI Agent Vincent Rossabi (Noam Jenkins) who offers her in lead in a dead spy connected to Henry and $200 million of missing CIA money secretly printed and scheduled to be shipped to Kandahar which Wilcox appropriated for his own use. Unable to call on Helen to run down the lead, and unaware Annie is still alive, a very pregnant Joan takes a trip to New York to do her own field work which leads her to make a pair of discoveries.

With Henry about to flee the country with his millions to Hong Kong both Auggie and Calder prepare separate scenarios but both teams end up with nothing more than a decoy and egg on their face as the old spy outfoxes the hunters one last time. With Calder's cover blown, and Annie's time almost up, the pair travel to Hong Kong with Auggie in a one-way trip for all concerned if they fail to take Henry down. With only two episodes remaining there's no turning back for Annie, who has to put aside the awkwardness of the knowing of Auggie slept with Helen before her death, and lead her team to finish the task which she has sacrificed everything for.
