Wander's (Jack McBrayer) helpful nature becomes a problem when attempt to buy a cold drink for Sylvia (April Winchell) on a hot day. First Wander's generosity allows other customers to buy all of his friend's favorite drink, and later after making an approximation of the fizzy beverage Wander is trapped once again by being a single penny short to complete the transaction.
Further stymied by long lines, a lumpy welcome mat, giving away found pennies to other customers, making a donation, a spilled fountain drink, and a needy child all force Wander to give up his chance to deliver his friend her beverage. Ending on a nice twist, Wander's generosity finally works its way back to Sylvia as the the child for whom he bought the last bottle of Thunder Blazz! offers it to Wander's friend in need.
