Pretty Little Liars - Scream For Me

With both Hanna's (Ashley Benson) drunken blurb about New York getting back to A and Lt. Tanner (Roma Maffia) continuing to question Alison's (Sasha Pieterse) story about her prolonged abduction Alison takes some preemptive steps in an attempt to add credence to the elaborate lies told about her missing years. Step one involves temporarily moving in with Hanna and her mother, which only sends a spiraling Hanna further out of control. And step two involves convincing Noel Kahn (Brant Daugherty) to perform a bit of theater in order to convince Ashley Marin (Laura Leighton) of the danger not only she but all the Liars find themselves in.

When not busy trying to cover-up Hanna's drunken share about New York with Sydney (Chloe Bridges), Emily (Shay Mitchell) tags along with Spencer (Troian Bellisario) on a trip to a nearby stable to run down a tip involving Bethany Young which Aria (Lucy Hale) was able to bribe out of one of the patients at Radley. Put into a dangerous situation by A, the pair make it out of the stables with only minor injuries but definite questions concerning Bethany's relationship with both Mrs. DiLaurentis and Spencer's sister Melissa (Torrey DeVitto).

Alison's late admission reminds Aria, Spencer, and Emily just how manipulative their friend can be to get what she wants (even going so far as to drive one of their mothers half-crazed with fear to cover her own ass). Although Alison's ploy works in motivating Mrs. Marin to stand-up for Alison with the police, it doesn't do much in the way of convincing Lt. Tanner of the young woman's story. Along with showcasing Caleb's (Tyler Blackburn) bad influence on Hanna, the episode also picks up the subplot of Ella Montgomery's (Holly Marie Combs) impending wedding to Zack (Steve Talley) putting a new spin on the festivities when Zack makes not one but two passes on Hanna who earns only Aria's scorn and disbelief when attempting to warn her friend of the situation.
