Rookie Blue - Going Under

With Duncan (Matthew Owen Murray) not willing to accept his suspension and filing a complaint against both her and the department Andy (Missy Peregrym) is yanked from an undercover assignment at the last minute. While she helps Swarek (Ben Bass) with a low-impact missing persons case, Epstein (Gregory Smith) and Diaz (Travis Milne) take her place in the hopes of arresting whoever has been illegally selling guns to local college students.

When Diaz's dealer (Kyle Mac) shows up in the bar where he, Epstein, and Nick (Peter Mooney) are all undercover Diaz's worlds begin to collide. Forced to arrest the dealer, blowing the current case but momentarily protecting his friends from learning of his drug habit, Diaz is then stuck with how to get the dealer out of the department before he fingers Diaz as one of his favorite clients. The choices he makes, while momentarily successful, only dig a bigger hole and draw the further concern of Epstein about his friend's recent erratic behavior.

Other than mentioning Duncan's complaint and seeing Andy fret about it the storyline is put on hold for now. Andy and Swarek's search for a missing teacher leads to the discovery of the man dead in the trunk of his car thanks in large part to Chloe (Priscilla Faia) cluing the pair in on an complaint which ends up leading them to the victim and opens the door for a more serious murder investigation into the man's death next week. The other subplot of the week involves Gail (Charlotte Sullivan) drawing the concern of both Chloe and Oliver (Matt Gordon) with her recent behavior following her break-up with Holly (Aliyah O’Brien) and last week's murder investigation which has left her shaken and unable to put the case behind her.
