Arrow - Uprising

As Oliver (Stephen Amell) makes his journey home Arsenal (Colton Haynes), Canary (Katie Cassidy), Diggle (David Ramsey), and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) try to keep Starling City from falling into chaos. With the police removed from the Glades Brickwell (Vinnie Jones) continues to tighten his grip on the city. However, the would-be kingpin's past will come to bite him in the ass when Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) discovers the identity of Brick's first victim. While the episode doesn't deliver the teased team-up of Merlyn and Team Arrow in the end it offers the beginning of something even more intriguing in a partnership of sorts between Thea's (Willa Holland) brother and father.

Despite his injuries Green Arrow still manages to make an memorable return to Starling City capitalizing on the upswell of support created by the team to fight Brickwell and his minions. Felicity's joy of seeing Oliver alive soon turns to disgust on discovering his plan to work with Merlyn to fight Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable). The team may have eventually galvanized in his absence but his first decision since returning home is already a cause for concern as far as Felicity is concerned. Sin (Bex Taylor-Klaus) letting Sara's father know someone else is wearing Black Canary's wig and mask opens the door for Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) to learn the truth about both his daughters.

With Oliver learning from Merlyn to learn how to fight, and defeat, Ra's al Ghul the series begins a new part of his hero's journey heading into the second half of the show's Third Season. How long will it take Thea to uncover this new partnership and piece together how Oliver spends his nights? Will the Ollie's association with Merlyn push Felicity into helping Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) with his project rather than continue to support Oliver's crusade? And by the end of the season will Oliver be ready for a rematch with Ra's al Ghul?
