Star Wars Rebels - Legacy

The Empire's invasion of Garel forces the Rebellion to flee their base. Separating from the rest of the group, Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.) and Ezra (Taylor Gray) return to Lothal, led their by the padawan's visions of his his parents who he believes may still be alive. The run from Garel provides plenty of action both on the ground, where Ezra shows off his growing abilities with Force against the Inquisitors, and in the air where Hera (Vanessa Marshall) uses the Ghost in a risky manuever to free the Rebellion's flag ship form a Star Destroyer's tractor beam.

While the first-half of the episode is more action-packed, the second-half is more introspective as Kanan leads Ezra home and helps the young padawan follow his vision which includes chasing a Loth-cat around a town square and meeting a friend of his parents. While Ryder Azadi can offer Ezra no hope that his parents are still alive, he does inform the Jedi trainee that his parents did become aware of his broadcast in an Imperial prison and it inspired them to help in a mass outbreak saving the lives of several political prisoners. As to what the rest of Ezra's vision meant, and whether or not his use of anger in battle will come back to bite him, we'll just have to wait and see.
