Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Ten #28

While the most interesting, and humorous, parts of Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Ten #28 are the interludes of Dawn and Xander dimension-hopping to find their way home, the latest issue also focuses on Buffy and Spike working through their relationship issues while finding a way to prevent the threat of the super-powered D'Hoffryn.

Facing defeat and rejection in their separate lives, both Willow and Giles will return to the fold (along with a few more familiar faces before the final panel). As with the end of Season Four, the issue mends together the torn fabric of Buffy and her friends just in the nick of time to set-up an united front against the big bad.

And, also in the tradition of the show, Buffy comes up with an out-of-the-box solution to their problem (which, of course, we'll have to wait to unfold in the comic's final issue). While the final arc of the season continues to feel more and more like a retread of the last few episodes of the show's weakest season, there's still fun to be had. Worth a look.
