Star Wars Rebels - The Last Battle

Mainly fan service to those who miss Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the latest episode of Star Wars Rebels takes Ezra (Taylor Gray), Kanan (Freddie Prinze Jr.), Rex (Dee Bradley Baker), Zeb (Steve Blum), and Chopper to Agamar in search of some old Clone War weapons the Rebellion hopes to use against the Empire. What they find, however, is an entire compliment of Battle Droids led by a Super Tactical Droid who refuses to admit that the war ever ended.

Pitting the Jedi and Clone Trooper against his droids, the Super Tactical Droid hopes to win one final battle for the Separatists. However, conditions force both sides to admit a draw and combine forces when the Empire arrives in search of the stranded Rebels. As a stand-alone episode "The Last Battle" works well-enough, although it does require viewers to have a connection with the previous cartoon. The plot switches quickly as the two enemies work together, but the reasoning behind the droids' logic in doing so is sound (as it echoes an idea that most people never notice about the prequels - in the war against the entity which would become the Galactic Empire, the Separatists were the good guys).
