Secret Six #3

The third issue of the series pretty much follows the same pattern we've seen over the course of the first couple of issues with the primary focus being on Jon Kent (feeling out of place), Gossamer (feeling conflicted), and Dreamer (feeling murderous and having her motivations and actions questioned), although we do get more of Deadshot and Catman here (albeit out of costume for the most part as the entire group goes undercover at a club looking for a new lead to the missing Amanda Waller. It feels very much like a middle issue of a larger issue treading water until the big reveal.

We get Black Alice doing a bit of razzle dazzle to provide the team some undercover clothing (not sure whose powers she's stealing for that) and most of the comic is really just characters sitting around the club while we see a Senator talking to a shadowy operative who gets revealed in the final panel as another Secret Six alum in Banshee (although I don't know if that's still canon in this timeline?).

[DC, $3.99]
