Nine Puzzles - Episode 10 & 11
Following a murder in the hospital, evidence leads both Yoon E-na (Kim Da-mi) and Han-saem (Son Suk-ku) separately to Hwang In-chan (Roh Jae-won) who is responsible for the artwork on the puzzle pieces but is not their killer. However, his connection to the artwork leads to the confirmation of the killer's identity as more and more information is uncovered explaining the motivations for the murders and how everything traces back to the Seojin Diner, where Yang Jung-Ho (Kim Sung-Kyun) worked before becoming a police officer, located in the Shindonga Market which was destroyed in the name of progress to make way for the One City.
The series doesn't disappoint in wrapping up the various threads in the same stylish manner seen in the earlier episodes. As the damn bursts, and information starts flowing freely, piecing various aspects of the mystery together, we learn how Jung-Ho's act of mercy unintentionally led to all that followed.
Along with an extended epilogue that offers an ending and then teases a new beginning, the final two episodes offer a number of memorable moments including E-Na standing in Lee Seung-Joo's (Park Gyuyoung) lair realizing she's found the killer who has been right in front of her all along, and the confrontation between them in her uncle's home and final conversations together, the extended flashback to the corruption and greed that allowed the Shindonga Market to be razed to the ground, and the end to the case as the story returns to Dream Land for its fiery conclusion.
