Duck Dodgers in Attack of the Drones

Taking a few good-natured shots at the worst of the Star Wars films (Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones), Duck Dodgers (Jeff Bennett) comes up with an ingenuous way to stop a fleet of alien monsters about to attack the Earth by cloning an army of robotic versions of himself. For a Duck Dodgers plan, it's an unqualified success. However, dealing with the rampaging robot ducks afterwards turns out to be an entirely new problem in need of a solution.

Released in 2004, "Attack of the Drones" may not have classic Looney Tunes zaniness but it's still quite enjoyable including various gags based on the Jedi Council (whose members appear to include Zoidberg) and Anakin's big fall in Episode II. Learning that the robots have his same weakness, our hero comes up with another successful plan... although he overlooks one important detail allowing the short to end, as all Duck Dodgers adventures should, with Duck Dodgers trapped in a mess of his own making that's at least as bad as before he ever became involved.
