Green Lantern: The Animated Series - Babel

With the ship drained of all power after Aya (Grey DeLisle) abandoned the Interceptor to join the Manhunter army, Hal Jordan (Josh Keaton), Kilowog (Kevin Michael Richardson), and Razer (Jason Spisak) crash land on a hostile planet with a poisonous atmosphere just as their own rings begin to give out as well. Making for the safety of a domed city, the threesome manage to sneak inside but are soon unable to communicate or understand each other without their rings.

Trying to communicate as best they can and stay alive, the threesome's antics only end up getting them captured and thrown in the local prison where they are sacrificed to a giant creature in an arena for the amusement of the planet's inhabitants of thieves and killers. Using a still powered Manhunter head from one of the monster's recent kills, Jordan and Kilowog are able to recharge their rings and make it back to downed spacecraft to begin repairs and allow Razer to repower his ring as well.

The episode is somewhat uneventful following Aya's betrayal and departure from he group. However, as a single episode focusing on how much harder the three Lanterns must work to stay alive, and strive to communicate even basic ideas, with the use of their power rings "Babel" works quite well.
