The Avengers - Bullseye

Throwback Thursday takes us back to the adventures of British spy John Steed (Patrick Macnee) and his various partners. After Steed procures a large amount of stock in her name, Cathy Gale (Honor Blackman) shows up as a new minority shareholder at a British arms manufacturer suspected of gunrunning. The apparent suicide by a member of the board draws Steed's attention, but that will be far from the last board member not to make it out alive.

With Steed firmly in the background, and in more of a cameo role, two attempts are made on Cathy's life. The first by the gunrunner, which she expertly holds off, and the second by the head secretary (Judy Parfitt) of the company who has committed each murder in an attempt to prevent a hostile takeover by a competitor played by Ronald Radd (which would expose the entire illegal operation).
