Iron Man #1
A new volume of Iron Man begins here leading to the inevitable new take on his armor (and my mixed reaction to it). In terms of storyline, the opening arc sets up A.I.M. attempting to rehabilitate the evil scientist collective which has become largely a punchline in recent years. Helping to do that is casting Madame Masque as the group's field leader in acquiring young finalists for the first ever Tony Stark Award and kidnapping them in hopes of finding a genius capable of taking them to a new level.
Strongly inspired by the MCU version of Tony Stark, the comic sets up his love of adulation, his guilt, and his obsession with being Iron Man. As to the tease at the end, teasing some kind of confrontation between Stark and the other major heroes, that feels a bit wonky note to end on but does seem to promise Iron Man vs. Captain America and others in the follow up issue (which is likely the point).
