Transformers #29
Transformers #29 provides the kind of big battle you always want to see between the robots in disguise when the Decepticons attack the Ark. The issue is full of characters from both factions, and a ton of action, but the primary reason to pick up issue #29 is the extended pairing off between fully healthy Optimus Prime and Megatron for the first time in the run. In the words of Dr. Ishiro Serizawa, "Let them fight."
With the focus on glorious robot-on-robot violence, there's not much in the way of story here (and no B-story to cut away from the action). However, we do get cameos from Elita-One and Cliffjumper at the issue's conclusion suggesting, despite successfully defending their home against the Decepticons and earning an important, if small, victory there may been some internal strife for the Autobots to work through in the coming issues.
