My Adventures with Superman - Mobile Suit Toyman
The second episode of the show's Third Season offers a trip to a fan convention where Jimmy (Ishmel Sahid) finds new ways to screw up a romance with Kara (Kiana Madeira), a crazed Lois (Alice Lee) loses all sense of reason after discovering Winslow Schott (Michael Yurchak) selling toys to children, and Superman (Jack Quaid) stepping out to deal with a bank robbery who includes the new super-villain The Whip (Melanie Minichino).
Although the Toyman story is the one that leads into the big reveal tied to season-long events with a pestered and insulted Toyman instigated by Lois into unleashing his mecha on the convention only to be stopped by Lex Luthor's (Max Mittelman) new Cyborg Superman (Mittelman), it's easily the weakest of the three stories. Jimmy's frustration of Kara meeting other suitors (something he directly caused) and Superman dealing with a villain getting off a little too much in fighting him both offer a bit more fun. And Kara's interview also provides not only introspection for the character but also the introduction of young Supergirl fan Jessica Cruz (Auli'i Cravalho) as well.
