Zorro's Legacy #1

The new series from Alien Books offers two Zorros for the price of one. Setting Zorro in modern times (without Batman), the first issue of Zorro's Legacy opens with a modern-day descendant of Don Diego de la Vega taking on the mantle attempting to do some good in the rough streets of Los Angeles. However, when that Zorro is cut down it falls to one more relative to pick up mantle (adding a bit more modern flair than his uncle was willing to consider). 

Ultimately I don't know that Zorro's swashbuckling works in modern times, but Zorro's Legacy is an interesting experiment. The comic also lacks the charismatic villain the best Zorro stories also had (at least so far). It's a bit pricey for a curiosity, but Zorro fans may find it of interest.
