Reacher - Vote for Sampson
As Reacher (Alan Ritchson) and Green (Sydelle Noel), and separately Merrick (Christopher Rodriguez Marquette), all stare down death, help comes from unexpected places. Reacher's second interview with the evil chemist Leo Ahlquist (Shawn Doyle) turns out to be much more informative than the first and reveals what's so important about a 25 year-old picture that he, the CIA, and Amisha (Anggun) and Lia (Agnez Mo) are all willing to kill for.
In an episode heavy on exposition, including the narrated flashbacks, events of the season come into focus for Reacher just as Lia and Amisha finish recreating the scientist's work and perform a successful test of his invention.
Given how secretive the show has been to that point, "Vote For Sampson" feels like a data dump that, given the season's pacing, is necessary to get everyone caught up before the finale. In an episode of Reacher that's light on action, tension rises in the final third as they, and their new favorite Congressman (Marc Blucas), attempt to prevent a terrorist attack.
