Supergirl #1
A new volume of Supergirl begins here with an issue that does a pretty good job on hitting on several aspects of Kara and letting us know what's going to be covered/included in the current version. Along with appearances by both Krypto and Streaky, Supergirl #1 also gives us Supergirl (very quickly) stopping threats in both Metropolis by defeating Princess Shark and in Kandor dealing with Lar-On on a rampage before returning to Midvale to discover something quite bizarre is going on.
If I have a quibble with Supergirl #1 it's that the Metropolis and Kandor adventures are pretty rushed compared to Kara returning to her hometown as Linda Danvers (in what, for me, is the third most interesting story). In Midvale she discovers not only has a new "Supergirl" arrived in town but apparently Linda has been displaced as well with her adoptive parents? Seems like shenanigans are afoot, but why (and why in Midvale of all places)?
