Fantastic Four #1
A new volume of Fantastic Four kicks off here with Sue, Reed, Ben, and Johnny (in a ridiculous mustache) in middle battle with the new emperor of the Marvel Universe - Doctor Doom. Tired of dealing with the foursome, Doom sends them hurtling through time with each member of the team landing centuries apart in the past or future where they can no longer cause him grief (but apparently the computer network tied into their suits still works).
And that's really it. There's not much to the comic other than this set up leaving the remainder of the arc to be how each of the four somehow make their way back to each other. We check in with each member in the time period we find them. Johnny gets shot so far back the planet's atmosphere limits his flame ability (until it doesn't). Ben fights some dinosaurs. Reed finds himself trapped in the Medieval Era. And Sue is thrown far, far into the future long after any life or signs of civilization has been wiped out. In attempt to communicate, each one signs the same stone in the same location providing a record of where they are. However, to be saved, it certainly appears that someone else is going to have to find it as none of the four look to be in any position to be able to save themselves.
