Secret Six #5
The first thing you notice about Secret Six #5 is the art has changed considerably with Roger Cruz taking over for Stephen Segovia. The second thing you notice is there is no Catman in this issue. Neither of these things is an improvement.
Secret Six #5 catches up with Deadshot, Dreamer, and Black Alice being the "guests" of Checkmate where they also find Amanda Waller and have a second go-round with Jeannette after her failed attempt to get the trio to join in and help Checkmate with their own plans for Waller. We also get a bit more detail on just what Dreamer did to the woman (and why Checkmate wants her alive).
We also get Jay in a room full of dead bodies discovering Waller isn't alone in the terror she caused, having full government approval for her actions, and a premonition from Dreamer about how far the young man might fall down the rabbit hole without a little nudge in the right direction. I'm not wild about the art here, and while there are some fun moments (such as Alice's power-up), mostly this feels like an issue designed merely to move pieces into place for the next one rather than add much to the story in these pages.
