Chuck Versus the Frosted Tips

Morgan (Joshua Gomez) finally goes all the way to the Dark Side by betraying the team and his best friend by stealing the data for their latest mission and agreeing to work for Verbanski Corp. The Intersect that was left for them didn't come from Beckman (Bonita Friedericy) and now it's destroying what little remains of Morgan's original personality.

Chuck (Zachary Levi), Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski), and Casey (Adam Baldwin) set out on two missions. The first is to recover the data that could help Carmichael Industries stay afloat. But the second is far more personal. Chuck tries to find what's left of his friend under a mountain of attitude and frosted tips.

The team is able to pull Morgan back from the brink but not before he ruins his relationships with all those close to him including Alex (Mekenna Melvin). And if that's not bad enough the C.I.A. has put out a hit on the loudmouth new Intersect.

Other stories include Casey fighting his feelings for Verbanski (Carrie-Anne Moss), Jeff (Scott Krinsky) getting a new lease on life, and Awesome discovering ways to keep busy now that he's a stay-at-home dad.

The end of the episode works, but it feels a little rushed (as did this arc). I have a feeling had Chuck earned a full final season things might have gone a little smoother. That said, it looks like there's even more upheaval in the next episode as the team will have to keep Morgan alive long enough to find a way to remove the Intersect from Morgan's head. And the episode earns points for a-hole Morgan buying a Monotracer (even if it's not a yellow one).
