Justice League Unlimited #8

With the world in peril and Gorilla Grodd, now enhanced with Darkseid's Omega Energy, and his Legion of Doom near victory, Air Wave recruits heroes from across time and space to help stop the villain offering an enjoyable end to the arc (although there will apparently be plenty of aftermath to clean up in the issues to come). This leads to an overload of heroes hitting the Watchtower leading to some fun comic panels.

Along with offering us multiple versions of Batman, the Flash, and Superman, including from Terry McGinnis from Batman Beyond, we also get an eclectic mix of Titan Titans, the Terrifics, and random familiar faces such as Abin Sur, a Jason Todd Robin, and Jonah Hex. The twist at the end, after Grodd is defeated by the heroes, is that they can't be immediately sent home as the released Omega Energy is blocking all known means of time travel. This of course means there's a whole host of heroes to draw on in upcoming issues and odd team-ups to explore. This could be fun, although something more dangerous appears to be looming for all involved.
