Stitchers - I See You

"I See You" is the least-objectionable episode of Stitchers to date as Kirsten (Emma Ishta) enters the mind of a murdered peeping tom living in apartment below Cameron (Kyle Harris) hoping to find answers as to why he was killed. The set-up, and the twist revealing the unusual nature of the victim's interaction to those he watched, give the episode a more interesting storyline to explore rather than a straightforward murder (although the final twist involving the human trafficking angle is so rushed it lacks the emotional weight necessary to make it all work).

Starting with this episode the writers have apparently decided to banish Linus (Ritesh Rajan) and Camille (Allison Scagliotti), and the audience during these subplots, to rom-com hell as despite the pair's obvious attraction and compatibility most of the episode is spent with forcing them apart for vague reasoning. Kirsten has also mellowed quite a bit by the end of this episode making me wonder if ABC Family thought her character was too brash in the Pilot as the show continues to struggle to find the right emotional/emotionless mix for Ishta to play.
