Shadowhunters - Original Sin

As Simon (Alberto Rosende) begins his quest to get his marked removed, Jace (Dominic Sherwood) and Luke (Isaiah Mustafa) begin searching in earnest once they find evidence to support Luke's theory that Clary (Katherine McNamara) is still alive. By the end of the episode Jace and Luke will get their reunion, but Simon's journey of trudging through the subways to talk to Cain (Pasha Ebrahimi) and performing rituals for the Seelie Queen (Lola Flanery) has apparently just begun.

Earning a measure of trust with Jonathan (Luke Baines), Clary bides her time long enough for the Shadowhunters to find her, but could she have learned more staying with Jonathan (and perhaps pushing him onto a brighter path)? The brother and sister's romp around Paris proves interesting, while foreshadowing a bit about what Jonathan has planned for the world, none of which is likely to be helped by his sister's betrayal. Isabelle (Emeraude Toubia) proves helpful to Simon in his quest, both in providing moral support and actual substance for the vampire when he grows weak. The show continues to tease the audience with a possibility of throwing these two characters together, but will Simon feeding on his friend hasten or prolong such an obvious match?
