FBI - What Lies Beneath

OA (Zeeko Zaki) has mixed feelings with being put on the protection detail for an Egyptian politician (Nasser Faris) arriving in the United States for a heart transplant. Putting his personal feelings for the man's policies aside, policies that cost a relative her life, Omar helps prevent one attack on the target from a world-class assassin not realizing that the FBI is playing straight into the killer's hands who orchestrates a change of venue for the transplant and is prepared to kill an entire hospital full of people in order to complete his mission.

Although his internal personal debate works well enough, OA's quick reversal from the moral high ground to accepting the idea that the ends do indeed justify the means is incredibly over-simplistic (and has he really never been forced to make the hard call before?). Given the briefing by Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) it also takes the FBI a ridiculous amount of time to consider an assassin who doesn't care about casualties may choose to destroy an entire hospital to kill his target. With OA assigned elsewhere, the episode does make good us of a green field agent (Titus Makin Jr.) by pairing him up with Maggie (Missy Peregrym), who is given her own subplot here involving a deeply personal matter.
