The Good Place - A Girl from Arizona, Part 1

The Good Place returns for its final season with Eleanor (Kristen Bell) taking the lead assuming the role of the architect and welcoming the new entries into the experiment that could well determine the fate of all human souls in the future. Although Michael (Ted Danson) has recovered from the anxiety which forced Elanor into the lead role, Janet (D'Arcy Carden) is over-worked, Jason (Manny Jacinto) is still Jason, and Chidi (William Jackson Harper) has chosen to have his mind wiped leaving him as blissfully unaware about the truth of his surroundings as the four test subjects.

This time around the town populated by Janet's offspring (rather than demons) to act as the neighbors for the recently-deceased humans. Simone (Kirby Howell-Baptiste), a scientist unable to process that Heaven and Hell are real, refuses to believe her surroundings - causing all kinds of trouble for Eleanor. The gossiping John (Brandon Scott Jones), the apparently ambivalent Linda (Rachel Winfree), and the racist, sexist, and all around douchey Brent (Ben Koldyke) round out the group. The premiere features its share of struggles for the team, including the discovery of a ringer put into the town by the Bad Place, Jason getting into a fight with Derek (Jason Mantzoukas), and Eleanor missing Chidi (who gets a solid upgrade from his original house in the Good Place). It looks like things off of to another chaotic start, but just how will they end this time around?
