Scooby-Doo! - Trading Chases
Scooby Saturday takes us back to another mystery involving some meddling kids and their talking dog. While visiting a museum with exhibits on both the history of mystery solving and Egypt, Fred (Frank Welker) ends up trading places with the museum guide Jeff (Kiff Scholl) who takes over leading the gang investigating the mystery of the Egyptian deity Sobek come to life while Fred takes over the tour of a group of kids (who he mostly renames into versions of the gang while spying on how Jeff is doing).
The episode is mostly notable for Fred's interactions with the kids while becoming frustrated at how well the gang is staying on-task under Jeff's direction, including taking even taking Daphne's (Grey DeLisle) sudden interest in falconry in stride. Despite Jeff helping the gang, there's no substitute for Fred (which is further emphasized with Jeff's awkward and bizarre attempts to put the clues together).
