Castle - In Plane Sight

While "In Plane Sight" is admittedly a bit of a gimmick episode, there's quite a bit to enjoy as Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Alexis (Molly C. Quinn) find themselves 30,000 feet in the air aboard a plane with a killer whose ultimate agenda remains unclear. Aboard a transatlantic flight Castle's help in enlisted by the flight crew after the search for a missing air marshal leads to the discovery of the man's body in the plane's cargo hold.

With the help of Beckett (Stana Katic), Ryan (Seamus Dever), and Esposito (Jon Huertas) running down leads and providing background information on the passengers aboard the flight to London, Castle is left largely to his own devices and wits to solve a crime that turns up a pair of suspicious suspects (Nick Greene, Kincaid Walker) neither of whom he's convinced is the actual killer. It's been awhile since the show has given us a father/daughter episode with Castle and Alexis and it's fun to see the characters working together in a storyline that incorporates Alexis' time interning in the morgue to help her father with the case.
