Bob's Burgers - Heist Things Are Heist
In an episode that doesn't include a single scene taking place within the restaurant (other than a montage flashback of ranting), the family heads across the bay to a small island for an award ceremony after the restaurant wins for "best dive." Uncharacteristically cheery, at least initially, Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) crashes back to Earth after realizing he doesn't get to keep the award, which is just a prop for the publicity photos, and is asked to shell out $200 for his own. Inspired by a sighting of Vincent (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), the kids decide to steal the trophy for Bob.
"Heist Things Are Heist" is a fun episode, even if the the subplot of Linda's (John Roberts) bra is dragged out far too long (although it does lead to fun final joke courtesy of Gene). Both happy and bitter Bob are equally entertaining. Having pity on the kids, whose first attempt only raises suspicion, Vincent decides to help out offering some theoretical knowledge from something he "read once." The result is the kind of heist you would expect from Bob's Burgers leading to a nice family moment (caused by deception and crime, but still a nice family moment nonetheless).
