Transformers #27
What Transformers #27 lacks in terms of story progression or action it certainly makes up for in jamming as many Transformers into a single issue as possible. Spending a couple of pages with various characters at a time, the most notable takeaways from the issue are the Autobots returning to something resembling full strength for the first time in the comic and getting a new recruit in the first Decepticon to switch sides and join their ranks.
Along with Optimus Prime's discussion with Thundercracker we also get Jetfire, the Combaticons, Ultra Magnus, Skywarp, Wheeljack, Arcee, Cliffjumper, Trailbreaker, Brawn, Sideswipe, Mirage, Blaster, and several others (all beautifully rendered). It might not be the strongest issue storywise, but there's plenty of eye candy for fans. All that, plus the return of Shockwave.
