Archie Comics 85th Anniversary Presents - Betty and Veronica Pin-Up Special #1

Part of Archie Comics celebrating its 85th anniversary, Archie Comics 85th Anniversary Presents - Betty and Veronica Pin-Up Special #1 collects Betty and Veronica one-page pin-ups from over the years from artist Dan DeCarlo (with a few other artists sprinkled in here and there as well).

Many of the shots feature one or both the of the girls on the beach, but the special also collects both Betty and Veronica, along with others such as Josie and the Pussycats, and even Archie and Jughead in various activities including playing a round of golf, performing on stage, and fishing, lounging at home, or just walking around town.

While there's no real story here, although several of the pages do offer some of the comics' classic humor, it is a nice collection of art (even if it may be a bit of a niche item). Fans of Archie, Betty, Veronica, and the rest (especially those of the look and style of the characters) are likely to have some fun with this which does offer a bit of a time capsule showing off Archie's timeless art and its subtle changes over the years.
