Hawaii Five-0 - Lekio

James Caan guest-stars as a private investigator and retired NYPD bomb expert who is Five-0's leading suspect behind the murder of a famous DJ (Dennis Miller) killed in the middle of a broadcast when his his recording studio aboard his yacht explodes while at sea.

The more time they spend with the annoying PI the more obvious it becomes to both McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danny (Scott Caan) that he didn't kill his friend, and the father of his goddaughter (Heather Sossaman), but that he might be able to help them find the person responsible.

A little investigation into the DJ's emancipation program which was helping minors get away from violent parents leads them to a disgruntled father (Chris McGarry) who blamed the radio personality for breaking up his family and had access to the explosives used to kill, and a dead con woman (Tanya Clarke) with a partner (Ben Bledsoe) in a sweetheart scheme gone wrong.

In an episode memorable for Scott Caan's father making a guest appearance, the show's B-story involves McGarrett teasing Danny about his overprotective nature as a father in his attempts to keep Grace (Teilor Grubbs) safe from boys her own age. It's teased in the closing scene that the elder Caan may make another appearance in future episodes as well.
