The Big Bang Theory - The Love Spell Potential

When the girls night out to Las Vegas falls through after Amy (Mayim Bialik) physically assaults a TSA worker during a routine pat down and gets placed on the No Fly List their boyfriends invite them to stay and play Dungeons & Dragons. With the help of a little alcohol the night turns out unexpectedly well, even for Sheldon who was cautious about both the women joining the game and Howard's (Simon Helberg) new role of Dungeon Master (which gives Helberg the opportunity to break out his various impressions including Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, and Nicholas Cage).

In the episode's B-story Raj (Kunal Nayyar) abandons the group to go on a date with Lucy (Kate Micucci) in which his attempts to get her to face some of her fears. This leads to an awkward moment with his girlfriend crawling out of another bathroom window but ends with the odd pair closer than ever before.

The episode ends with some good-natured teasing about the status of Amy and Sheldon's relationship which Amy doesn't take so well. In an attempt to calm his girlfriend and finish the game, Sheldon begins a frank discussion about the state of their relationship which leads into an uniquely Sheldon idea of foreplay through the use of their D&D characters. Although the episode only gets the characters marginally involved in Dungeons & Dragons (at least on-screen), the result brings the characters together in a new kind of nerdy comraderie of adventure as everyone enjoys the evening.
