Arrow - Time of Death

While throwing Sara (Caity Lotz) a welcome back from the dead party, Oliver (Stephen Amell) also asks for Black Canary's help to take the mastermind behind meticulously-planned robbery of Kord Industries of a skeleton key which can be re-purposed to break into any bank vault. While Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) struggle with Sara's inclusion in Team Arrow, her impressive skill-set, and Sara picking up her romantic relationship with Oliver, Felicity also attempts to find the Clock King (Robert Knepper) who always seems to be one-step ahead and have one more ace up his sleeve including hacking into, and destroying, the vigilante's computer network.

Along with Felicity feeling concerned with her spot on the team (leading to her making a very questionable decision), and Thea (Willa Holland) picking up on the obvious tension between Moira (Susanna Thompson) and Oliver, "Time of Death" also includes an unfortunate Lance family dinner involving Laurel's (Katie Cassidy) meltdown on discovering Oliver and Sara are back together and Detective Lance's (Paul Blackthorne) disappointment at realizing Dinah (Alex Kingston) isn't planning on returning to Starling City or giving her ex-husband another chance.

A combination of both the comic version of Clock King and Calculator, I was unsure who Knepper was playing until his name was revealed. He works well-enough for a one-off villain, and I wouldn't mind seeing him to reprise the role somewhere down the line. Along with finally bringing the Lance sisters back together for a tearful reconciliation, and Laurel finally admitting a hard truth to herself, the episode's flashbacks also help explain Sara's relationship to Sin (Bex Taylor-Klaus). However, the episode's big surprise comes in its final scene where Oliver comes face-to-face with a very much alive Slade Wilson (Manu Bennett) setting up a conflict which will likely play out over the remainder of the show's Second Season.
