Hal Jordan and The Green Lantern Corps #9

The Green Lantern Corps and the Sinestro Corps' attempt to save the planet of from an attack on Starro leaves the group in a precarious position. Not only must they think of a quick way to stop the mind-controlling starfish from taking control of them as well, but the group also discover that the entire city has been taken and bottled by an old DC villain - Braniac. Even after working together to stop Starro, the Lanterns have an entirely new set of problems to deal with.

The issue's back-up story begins to investigate just what happened to Hal Jordan after his attack on Warworld. As the his ring continues to seek out its master, we see into the Emerald Space where Hal exists between life and death. Approached by a former Green Lantern, Hal discovers although he has earned his rest his ring-slingin' days may not be over just yet.

As expected, the death of Hal Jordan has been greatly exaggerated. Although I'm not excited to see the introduction of Kyle Rayner into the story, I'm up for anything to get Hal back into action. Worth a look.

[DC, $2.99]
