Altered Carbon - Bury Me Dead

Quellcrist Falconer (Renée Elise Goldsberry) recovers her memory, believing he's killed the other version of himself the clone of Takeshi Kovacs (Will Yun Lee) attempts to win over Quell and learn about her secret weapon. Things don't go exactly as planned as Quell provides some insight into what became of his sister in the centuries that have passed and the, still living, other version of Kovacs (Anthony Mackie) and Trepp (Simone Missick) take out the rest of Carrera's (Torben Liebrecht) men with the help of new friends (who it turns out are all that friendly after all).

"Bury Me Dead" is memorable for Quell completing the Envoy ritual to prove herself as the original, too bad the army of mercenaries were only puppets of Governor Danica Harlan (Lela Loren). The choice to allow both versions of Kovacs to survive allows the less-experienced version to see a restored Quell in all her glory for the first time, face some hard truths about Reileen (Dichen Lachman), and come to peace with the other version of himself and the choices he was forced to make. Once again, without help and surrounded by soldiers, the small group attempts escape only for Quell to unleash her power once more which saves their lives but raises all kinds of questions.
