The Umbrella Academy - Valhalla

For the first time in the show's Second Season the entire Umbrella Academy is gathered under the same roof. It doesn't last very long as Luther (Tom Hopper) is the first to bail on the disagreements on how the team can prevent the end of the world in six days time. Following his brother out, Diego (David CastaƱeda) and Luther receive an invitation from Sir Reginald Hargreeves (Colm Feore) to all of his "pursuers" summoning them for a light supper (and laying the foundation for the next episode). During the opening sequence, we also get to see a little more of Pogo's past and how his path original coincided with that of Hargreeves.

Five (Aidan Gallagher) and Lila (Ritu Arya) have a bit of a tussle as the Handler (Kate Walsh) reveals herself. That isn't the agent's only move as she borrows a trick from Five and sends the Swedes on a wild goose chase that gets one of them killed foreshadowing a larger confrontation between the agents and our heroes in the coming days. The trio of Alison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Klaus (Robert Sheehan), and Vanya (Ellen Page) find comfort in each other (and alcohol) as each comes to realization. It's here, with the weight of the world on their shoulders and each of them carrying their own separate baggage, that the three can cut loose in one of the season's lighter scenes. While we don't see immediate effects of the choices made by Klaus or Alison, Vanya's attempt to admit her feelings for the woman she loves doesn't go as planned (confirming Klaus' earlier point about none of the family having any luck with love).
