Iron Cat #1 picks up a thread from two Black Cat series ago where Felicia Hardy created and stole her own version of armor from Tony Stark as part of the Black Fox's final score. Now someone else has got that armor and are after the Black Cat.
As the Black Cat attempts to steal a diamond for the second time, the issue provides flashbacks to the first attempt more than a decade ago when she was still working with the Black Fox and Tamara Blake who blames Felicia for the Black Fox's death and is out for revenge.
Along with the fun back-and-forth with Stark, and Black Cat running for her life, the issue builds on not one but two long-running recent storylines to kick off a fun new series that unexpectedly gives us a team-up of Iron Man and the Black Cat.
