"Small World" explains the use for the newest key and the miniature dollhouse of Key House, although not where Josh Bennett (Brendan Hines) found it or what he's after. A perfect copy of the house down to the people moving inside when the doll house is unlocked, gets dangerous for the Locke family when a spider crawls in becoming giant-sized and wreaking havoc. Thanks to Jamie (Liyou Abere) the Locke's aren't murdered by the giant arachnid in their kitchen.
While there are small storylines involving the various machinations of Dodge (Griffin Gluck) that move forward incrementally, including another setback on the creation of a key, the other big event of the episode is Erin Voss (Joy Tanner) moving in to Key House. At first adamant that Kinsey (Emilia Jones) and Tyler (Connor Jessup) give up the keys, Erin has second thoughts seeing what time has done to Duncan (Aaron Ashmore) she convinces her new friends to give him back his memories (although no one may be ready for the consequences of such actions).
