Wander Over Yonder - The Lonely Planet

When Wander (Jack McBrayer) and Sylvia (April Winchell) land on a small barren planet neither are that unimpressed, at least until it begins talking to them. Wander's obvious joy at meeting a talking planet which can anticipate his needs (such as providing glorious sunsets, beaches, rolling hills, and more without any real effort) is only matched by the planet Janet's (Kari Wahlgren) jealousy of Sylvia.

While providing for Wander's every need Janet puts Sylvia through the wringer in an attempt to keep the best friends apart. Only at the end does Wander begin to suspect Janet is a bit unstable as Janet creates a creepy little house for Wander to live in forever and goes to extremes to keep her new man and Sylvia apart.

Planet Janet and her jealousy work well, especially given Wander's oblivious nature to the difference of how the planet is treating him compared to his best friend. "The Lonely Planet" ends with a nice message that there is someone out there for everyone as Janet's attempts to stop the pair of wanderers from leaving create the planet its own moon and the constant companion she's always desired.
