White Collar - Digging Deeper

When the full skeleton of a Tyrannosaurus Rex on its way to the Natural Museum of History is stolen Peter (Tim DeKay) and Neal (Matt Bomer) go hunting CEO Brett Forsythe (Zeljko Ivanek) who has a known love for both ancient artifacts and a willingness to go to whatever lengths to acquire them. With Mozzie's help, Neal crafts a copy of the T-Rex egg in their possession to sell to Forsythe in hopes that it may lead them to the skeleton.

In the episode's B-story Neal's relationship with Rebecca (Bridget Regan) continues to heat up just as Peter's suspicions about Neal's recent activities lead the FBI Agent and Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen) to crash Neal and Rebecca's date. Realizing Neal is passing himself off as an agent of the FBI, but not uncovering the full plot involving the Codex and The Dutchman (Mark Sheppard), Peter implores Neal to come clean with Rebecca and tell her the truth which she takes pretty well (even suspiciously well, if you ask me).

Peter's growing suspicions around Neal's recent activities will bring things full circle next week when he reopens the case involving the gold coins Neal stole for The Dutchman. If I had to guess about Neal and Rebecca's relationship I'd bet there's trouble on the horizon as well as her immediate acceptance of Neal's true story makes me wonder if she's not a larger part of Hagen's plan as well.
