Doctor Who - Dinosaurs on a Spaceship

In the year 2367 The Doctor (Matt Smith) is called in to help with a Silurian spaceship on a collision course with Earth that happens to be populated with dinosaurs. Along with him for the ride are the Doctor's "gang" which includes Amy (Karen Gillan), Rory (Arthur Darvill), Queen Nefertiti (Riann Steele) of Egypt, an early 20th Century big game hunter (Rupert Graves) and, quite unexpectedly, Rory's father Brian (Mark Williams).

In the middle of the spaceship The Doctor finds another ship with an injured trader, and despicable human being, named Solomon (David Bradley) and his pair of quarrelsome robots who killed the cyber-sleeping Silurians in order to steal the dinosaurs. Unable to change the course of the Silurian ark, and unwilling to leave a potential gold mine, Solomon has become trapped by his own greed... at least until The Doctor brings him a far more valuable treasure.

With less than a half-hour before the Earth defense force destroys the ship, The Doctor has to find a way to change the ship's course, save Nefertiti from Solomon, protect the dinosaurs (while preventing them from killing all the companions), and save the day. No problem at all.

"Dinosaurs on a Spaceship," as the title suggests, proves to be one of the wackier episodes of the series complete with The Doctor riding and playing fetch with Triceratops and Rory and his father piloting an alien spaceship. The added group of companions certainly livens things us as well as Nefertiti and Riddell make for an interesting pair, each with their own very different relationship to The Doctor, and Rory's father steals several of the episodes most memorable moments as well as give us the opportunity for us to see Rory's life through his eyes.
